मंदिर,बेलूर (कर्नाटक)
होयसल वंशीय नरेश विष्णुवर्धन का 1117 ई. में बनवाया हुआ चेन्नाकेशव का प्रसिद्ध मन्दिर बेलूर की ख्याति का कारण है। इस मन्दिर को, जो स्थापत्य एवं मूर्तिकला की दृष्टि से भारत के सर्वोत्तम मन्दिरों में है, इसे मुसलमानों ने कई बार लूटा किन्तु हिन्दू नरेशों ने बार-बार इसका जीर्णोद्वार करवाया।
मन्दिर की संरचना दक्षिण भारत के अनेक मन्दिरों की भाँति ताराकार है। इसके स्तम्भों के शीर्षाधार नारी मूर्तियों के रूप में निर्मित हैं और अपनी सुन्दर रचना, सूक्ष्म तक्षण और अलंकरण में भारत भर में बेजोड़ कहे जाते हैं। ये नारीमूर्तियाँ मदनकई (मदनिका) नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं।
मन्दिर का पूर्वी प्रवेशद्वार सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। यहाँ पर रामायण तथा महाभारत के अनेक दृश्य अंकित हैं। मन्दिर में चालीस वातायन हैं। जिनमें से कुछ के पर्दे जालीदार हैं और कुछ में रेखागणित की आकृतियाँ बनी हैं। अनेक खिड़कियों में पुराणों तथा विष्णुवर्धन की राजसभा के दृश्य हैं। मन्दिर की संरचना दक्षिण भारत के अनेक मन्दिरों की भाँति है। इसके स्तम्भों के शीर्षाधार नारी मूर्तियों के रूप में निर्मित हैं और अपनी सुन्दर रचना, सूक्ष्म तक्षण और अलंकरण में भारत भर में बेजोड़ कहे जाते हैं। ये नारीमूर्तियाँ मदनकई (मदनिका) नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं।
सनातन की सभ्यता,कला, ज्ञान,सामर्थ्य आदि के कारण भारत विश्व गुरु था किन्तु हिन्दुओ के अहंकार,जातिवाद, लालच एंव कायरता के चलते ना केवल हजार साल ग़ुलाम रहा अपितु पुनः अब विनाश की और अग्रसर हो रहा है

Temple, Belur (Karnataka) The famous temple of Chennakesava built by the Hoysala dynasty king Vishnuvardhan in 1117 AD is the reason for Belur’s fame. This temple, which is among the best temples of India in terms of architecture and sculpture, was looted many times by Muslims but Hindu kings got it renovated again and again. The structure of the temple is star shaped like many temples of South India. The capitals of its pillars are made in the form of female statues and are said to be unmatched throughout India for their beautiful design, subtle carvings and ornamentation. These female idols are famous by the name Madanakai (Madanika). The eastern entrance of the temple is the best. Many scenes from Ramayana and Mahabharata are depicted here. There are forty vents in the temple. Some of which have netted curtains and some have geometric shapes. Many of the windows have scenes from the Puranas and the royal court of Vishnuvardhana. The structure of the temple is like many temples of South India. India was the world leader due to Sanatan’s civilization, art, knowledge, power etc. but due to the arrogance, casteism, greed and cowardice of the Hindus, it not only remained a slave for thousands of years but is now moving towards destruction. Recognize the need of the hour, wake up Hindus, leave casteism, differences of opinion/language/region, selfishness and cowardice in time, otherwise neither the existence of the nation, the religion, nor your lives, nor the honor of your sisters and daughters will be saved.
